I really enjoy this 151 Coffee location. The coffee is consistently delicious, the staff is always friendly, and even when there is a line, especially on Wednesdays, they move things along pretty quickly. The location itself is convenient and easy to swing through, which makes it a regular stop for me. The only reason this drops from five stars to four is one specific thing. They write the entire order directly on top of the lid with a Sharpie. Every time you take a sip, you smell that strong marker scent, and it completely interferes with the flavor of the coffee. I come to this shop almost everyday. I never thought I would be leaving a review like this but for the first time ever, I have felt like I was othered here. I was referred to as my name but consistently misgendered as “sir” multiple times in one transaction with one of the employees. I didn’t get her name but it has made me have an entirely different view on this place. I hate the other coffee shops around here but now I’m feeling like canned coffee at a gas station would at least make me feel more welcome than that just did. I’m very disappointed. I've been coming here for the last few years. I'm obsessed with the coffee and the prices are unbeatable. Only thing I don't like is, lately the staff doesn't say thank you. I tip atleast $1 each time sometimes more, and sometimes they just say "all good" and walk away. They used to be so friendly here. Not sure what happened to the old crew.
