I’m 26 now, been coming here since a teenager. Have had the same great chicken katsu plate lunch so many times that I feel a sense of peace every time I have it. Same great taste and never fails to hit the spot. I also love the loco moco, and can always rely on picking up a spam musubi for my girl and I when we just want a small snack. I got the BBQ Beef Plate which comes with a side of mac salad and white rice. I like how you have the option to swap out your sides with more rice or other sides from their menu. The bbq beef is chopped into small pieces and was almost a little too sweet at times. Better when you mix it in with rice or mac salad. The mac salad could have had more flavor. It slightly missed the mark and didn’t transport me back to Hawaii like some of the other mac salads I’ve had out here. I also got the Mini Hamburger Steak which was the star of the show.
