I want to start by saying that I am a strong supporter of tipping service workers. I regularly tip baristas, servers, and bartenders, and when the service is exceptional, I often tip well over 20%. My concern is not with tipping itself, but with the way the payment process is set up at Rosetta Roasting. During my visit, the Toast POS system appeared to have a tip amount already selected, and a 15% tip ($1.50) was added to my transaction. We came here for Nightcap, Rosetta's evening cocktail & dessert bar. Loved the transformation into a New Orlean's speakeasy, and I also love that they have different themes in rotation, which will make our definite return trip more exciting! Enjoyed the Revolver cocktail. The spice cake was a bit dry, but the drinks were great!

A cute, quiet, and cozy spot in a charming preserved historical building. Great drink and pastry options, and as someone who doesn't drink coffee, I appreciated having solid alternatives — though their bagged coffee and merch suggest the coffee is probably pretty great too. The catch for remote workers: no outlets anywhere, and street parking on that main strip can be tricky if you're planning to stay a while.
