Looking for a restaurant on Long Island since we are from Florida and red the glowing reviews. Went with our kids, my brother-in-law, and our daughter-in-law's mother who are all New Yorkers. We were seated in the bar area in front of the dining room. I started with Blue Point Oysters on the half shell, very good. My wife ordered the soup du jour, Mushroom soup, just fair. For mains, my wife tried the Short Rib Quesadilla which she thought was ok. Being a duck fan and in Long Island, how could you not ordered the Seared Long Island Duck Breast, roasted black grapes, Brussel sprouts & pancet

This is the place to go for a fancy yet affordable (pricey but on par with other restaurants) meal. The atmosphere here is timeless and classy. It’s hard to go wrong here. The French onion soup here is TO DIE FOR! Complimentary dinner rolls are also served here accompanied by butter. Also check out Heirloom Tavern in Glen Head!
