Gustavo Espinoza Jr★★★★★This is one of those places I always drive by when I’m in Long Beach but have never eaten at. We were looking for a place to have lunch and thought why not give it a try. Upon entering, we were greeted really warmly by the woman at the front counter. She was very kind to my friend and I, sporting a big smile on her face and made us feel at home. She recommended me the Quesabirria plate which comes with three quesabirrias of good size, and a side of consomé. It was pretty damn good. Toelle★★★★★I e been coming here for years. The owner and staff are extremely friendly. The food is served fast and has a salsa bar. You can get a Mexican come or a beer from the cooler. There is open tables in the back if you prefer to dine in.
Demytra Holloway★★★★★Cantarito Cocina Mexicana is like a culinary hug from your favorite abuelita, with dishes that will make your taste buds do the salsa. They just renovate and the place is amazing, the ambience takes you to your favorite destination in Mexico. Not only does he whip up some of the best ceviche and birria quesadilla tacos in town, but he's also the kind of guy you'd want to share a cold beer with. The beer is always cold, the conversation is always great, and the food is always on point. This spot is a true gem in the L
Vanessa S★★★★★Food is good. We ordered a camarones costa azul, Carne asada nachos, and a large Jamaica. We were also given a complimentary basket filled with handmade tortilla chips and chunky salsa. It’s a small mom and pop shop located in the heart of Long Beach.
