As someone who has enjoyed and reviewed cuisine across the country, I can confidently say that The Spot Café in Groton, Connecticut is one of the state’s most underrated hidden gems. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by an exquisite staff whose knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation elevates the entire dining experience. The owner is warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what he serves—something you can taste in every bite. The food? Off the charts delicious. Portions are authentically family-style, generously served and beautifully prepared. Every category—ap

Tonight we came into the newly owned Spot Cafe ! Wow is all i can say ! The Fritters we had for appetizer were nice and crispy and paired oerfect with the spicy vodka sauce to dip ! The steak and cheese also was cooked to perfection! The salmon Piccata was mouthwatering! We will definitely come back again soon ! GREAT WORK !!
