To me, the best Thai places are the ones right off the beaten path and this place lives up to that thinking. The house spring rolls were amazing and the pad thai with extra. spice was perfect! This place is my new go-to for Thai food in Lubbock. 💯
The Pad Thai was extremely good but a very small portion for the price compared to other Thai resteraunts. I was really hungry and my $15 plate did not do the trick. Staff was great. Cool place.

I had such a wonderful meal here recently. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served beautifully. Everything we ordered, especially the shrimp spring rolls, tasted incredible. The portion sizes were perfect and the ingredients felt high quality. We really enjoyed the variety of dishes on our table. This place is a fantastic local find. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

My husband and I tried Thai Pepper Restaurant today, and we were so impressed. From the moment we walked in, everyone was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The owner Mrs. Nus greeted us and was so kind and personable. The portions were generous, and the mango sweet rice dessert was AMAZING!!! It's not often you find a place that gets both the food and the service just right. We're always excited to discover local restaurants that are this good, and Thai Pepper has definitely earned a spot on our favorites list. We’ll absolutely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Thai food in Lubbock Texas. Thank you sister Nus. Your Vietnamese friend. JoAnn Rice from Plano Texas.

Pretty disappointing. The restaurant posted on Facebook that they would be OPEN on Memorial Day, so we made the drive over there only to find a handwritten note taped to the door saying they ‘closed early.’ No update online, no warning, nothing. There were also 3-4 other vehicles outside, so clearly we weren’t the only people who drove out there based on the information the restaurant posted. A paper sign saying ‘sorry for the inconvenience’ doesn’t make up for customers wasting their trip. Thankfully, Bangkok Thai Restaurant on 34th was actually open and ended up getting our business instead. Better communication would go a long way.

I’m not from Lubbock, but I love Thai food. I try to stop in a Thai restaurant wherever I go. Reading the reviews before I came here I was a little bit hesitant because some people said some of the staff could be rude. I found it 100% the opposite. The Staff was extremely friendly and when I told them I’ve never been there before took the time to answer my questions, even though they are very busy. I had the Panang curry, medium spice. I’ll tell you it may be the best Panang curry I’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend this place and I think they are extremely friendly and efficient. My food was outstanding. The lady at till, who was also busing tables when she had time was excellent in my opinion. I would say go if you get the opportunity, I know next time I’m in Lubbock I’ll be back. 100%

The servers are very nice, helpful, and quick. As an Asian American who traveled to Vietnam and Taiwan last month, this place is very sweet. I think it is a Lubbock “where you at got to make it sweet” for the American palate. The Pad Thai, sweet. The Thai green tea, super sweet. The curry? I liked it and will give it a 5 star for Lubbock. Everything else, 3 star for sweetness, but if the locals like it, then yes, keep doing that bc that is what they prefer — so make that paper (dinheiro). Overall I give it a Lubbock 4-star. There were a ton of people ordering for take out and dine-in. And I like to support small immigrant business so give it try.

EXTREMELY RUDE woman at the counter! She has poor customer service and speaks poorly to customers. Moved from Houston recently. Having the experience of Chinatown and many good Asian eats in Houston, this Lubbock Thai is not that good. It was lacking flavor and the noodles were more greasy and sweeter than I’m used to. The interior is VERY small. I will NOT return due to the rude staff.
