Awesome burger joint with unique atmosphere and charm - and a nice story about the interesting name. You could stare at the walls forever as well - super cool. It’s the got that old charm but without the crappy service or attitude you sometimes get from those places. The burgers were delicious- and you don’t feel like crap after eating one. Best cheese curds in Madison, even better beer selection!!! Our party had a melt, a bison burger, a build your own burger, and a grilled cheese. Great spot with no reservations. Only had to wait 5 mins for a table. Food and service was great. Tried two different beer flights but you can also make your own. We tried the classic, daddy-o and gladiator burgers all were perfectly cooked with a soft bun. We also ordered the bacon truffle fries. Must stop spot if in the area.

Words cannot describe how truly good the food was here. The burgers look small but they are mighty in flavor. One of THEE best burgers of my life. Insert happy dance after one bite. This place just made the forever visit list when in town. I truly cannot rave about this place more. The decor and vibe is eclectic warm and cozy. If you know me I love visiting places with great decor. The service was great, the food was even better. Ill be havin dreams about the food here.

I hadn’t been here in YEARS. It still offers the same great atmosphere and great food. Our waitress was attentive and very helpful. My grilled cheese was DELICIOUS. The chicken sandwich was also delicious. We enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend as a pre Kohl Center option or any other day!
