Had a very disappointing visit last Saturday. I had a late dinner around 10pm and did not see a host at the stand despite the signage stating see host for seating. The bartender confirmed he had no clue where the host was and ended up seating me himself. I shared that I have a lactose intolerance and asked the server what entrees she would recommend. She suggested the beef stew which includes mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes are commonly made with a lot of dairy and I asked if she was sure, to which she said yes. Madison's on King Street in downtown Madison is always a great place for food, drinks, and hanging out with friends or coworkers. It's one of my favorite spots for happy hour. They have a great happy hour menu and it's from 4-6pm Tuesday thru Friday. Their spicy margarita and dry rubbed wings are delicious!
