Slightly smaller portion size but very good quality ingredients. I personally like the sliced wider noodles compared to thinner hand pulled. Our family had the tendon, braise beef, shrimp and all were great, including the soup dumplings.

A focal point of downtown Madison dining. Exceptional noodles et el. They have an expansive menu which recently got even bigger with more cold noodle options which is exciting for the summer. Mr & Mrs Ruyi don’t ever miss! And if you still not sure the self-branded chopsticks tells you all the attention to detail they put it to their food.

Maybe I just ordered a not so good item (the bean paste and pork dry noodles), but it just was not great. The noodles felt a smidge undercooked, the sauce was not very flavorful and was mostly an oily mess, meat was scant, ig the cucumber helped but... My friends ordered 3 different things and they all seem to love it so maybe get their broth based noodles instead, their dry noodles were not it : (

Awesome place to have a warm serving of noodles- highly recommend the soup dumplings, make sure you get some of their chili crunch to throw on there. Great spot, would come back- especially on a cold day
