Long overdue review. I discovered Moon Kee soon after they opened 2 yrs ago. My BFF lives on 103rd so it's just 2 blocks away. I can't believe there is an **authentic** Canto restaurant up here! I grew up in LA, lived in NY for 6 yrs and now in No CA. Yes I'm an ABC, but my husband was born in HK and I know good authentic Chinese food. They even have BBQ meat hanging in the windows and people yelling in Cantonese to each other, haha. Sign of authenticity in a dim sum place. The only "non-authentic" thing? Very Authentic Cantonese Food, Glad to have found a spot that tastes like food back home (HK). I ordered the Wonton and Braised Beef noodles, Pork Ribs Claypot rice, and Choy Sum(Vegetables). Wonton was big with shrimp and pork in it, you can taste that it's the freshly made and not frozen ones. Braised Beef was tender and there were many pieces in it. Noodles are just like the wonton noodles in Hong Kong, cooked great, a bit chewy. The clay pot rice was made to order and came burning hot after cooking it over the fire. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.

This Cantonese restaurant stands out as the best I’ve discovered so far. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and most importantly, the flavors are simply incredible (平 靚 正). I highly recommend trying the chicken, siew mai, and the claypot rice.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was served smoothly and on time. Overall, Moon Kee Restaurant provides a satisfying dining experience with great taste and hospitality. I would definitely recommend it a
