Noel★The bar itself seemed fine, and the Guinness was competent. But we will not be returning. We were there for less than five minutes before nearby patrons began making racist and xenophobic comments right in front of us, lightly coded as if we couldn’t hear them. The comments were directed at my wife and her friends, and they seemed especially bothered that they were speaking Japanese. The main offender appeared to be an older man sitting by himself, with another man nearby joining in. It escalated quickly. One of the men said he was waiting for the right time to make an offensive comment and
Stella Raiford★★★★The pub has a classic neighborhood atmosphere that feels lively yet comfortable. I tried the burger and wings, both of which were excellent. There is a strong selection of beers on tap, and the Guinness really hits the spot. The service was attentive and enjoyable. It became busier later, but we still had a great time. The cost was about $30 per person. This place is a fantastic sister spot to Dylan Murphy’s, and I will certainly return.
Trent Hodges★★★★★Four of us stopped here on a weekday for a meal and some beverages. Loved the vibe as soon as we walked in. Quickly found a table and waitress was friendly and attentive even though it was quite busy due to trivia night. Good selection of beers and the food was delicious - fish & chips and curry were standouts from our order. Definitely will return.
Alexis Kurtz★★★★★Blake from The Raven graciously reserved three tables for my friends and I to ring in a birthday! I spoke with him well in advance and surely enough when the date/evening came, there were three tables waiting for us in a great spot (not that there's a bad spot at this awesome pub). Laura was our server (amazing!) and friends were all happy with their drink and food orders from the bar and kitchen! Thanks everyone!!! Highly recommend.
