I have been going here for years. While the prices are still somewhat reasonable the food is above average with some great dishes but their downfall is their customer service. Not the cooks or management but the young ladies who take orders and answer the phone. They seem to make alot of mistakes as well as not understand simple basic instructions and get puzzled by them. I do think it is best that if you have young kids answering the phone to take orders, you do need some form of communication skills or be able to understand or answer simple questions. I’ve been a loyal customer of Classic Pizza for years, which is why I’m surprised I’m writing this review. I ordered wings and specifically requested BBQ sauce on the side for guests I had over. This is the second time the sauce was missing. When I called, I explained that this had happened before, and Laura’s response was, “I guess so.” Maybe I’m missing something, but when a repeat customer calls about the same issue happening twice, I’d expect at least an apology or some effort to make it right. Classic Pizza is a Marlborough classic! Kosta and Crew do an excellent job of putting out great food at an extremely reasonable price. Service is five star as well. And if you want a cold adult beverage to enjoy with your meal, that is available as well.

The food was good, the atmosphere was nice (the place looks so good after the remodel) HOWEVER Marcelo’s customer service is what’s really keeping customers who have gone there for years, like myself, coming back . The ladies that work there seem to be more interested and chatting amongst themselves than taking orders. This was my third time there and the second time Marcelo saved the day. Over 10 minutes to get someone to come to the table, and that was on a slow day.
