We went to Matchbox to checkout the place and watch the World Cup. Cool thing is that they have halal chicken and beef. You should definitely try out the New York strip. Henry made the awesome and delicious as very kind and super attentive.

Very family friendly, comfortable and good ambiance. Menu has a good variety of choices. I probably shouldn't have picked the sushi, but the veggie rolls were fun, and the salad was a nice surprise since I didnt realize it was included. Do note that the rice is nowhere near authentic, but the overall flavor was fun! Toddler demolished the chicken tenders and fries, so that was a huge hit. And the mini burgers were great as well. Also recommend the bread appetizers!

Being new to the Reston area, I’m not very familiar with too many restaurants. I am SO happy I was introduced to Matchbox! Each dish was packed full of flavor, and the portion sizes were just right! Our waiter David was absolutely AMAZING! He was extremely attentive, friendly, and provided us with excellent recommendations! I’d love for him to be my waiter when I return because I’ll most definitely be coming back to Matchbox!

I was staying at the JW Marriott for my birthday and, being from MD, I dine at Matchbox pretty often! This is one of the best brunches with a great variety of food and generous sizes! Most places usually skimp on the quality of food when making it in "batches" but that has never been the case at this restaurant.
