We ordered the Shrimp skillet (garlic butter), house salads, stuffed mushrooms with crab. Everything was good, service was quick and hot! Our server was very friendly and asked if we were visiting. She sat down and took our order we found it to be more personable by doing so, like she knew is. It made us feel welcomed. The location on Beale street was so convenient to our stay at the Westin a short walk. I would recommend, loved the decor and live band in the back.

Come hungry. This place is very generous with its portions so be mindful when you order your best be hungry. Great place with amazing food, drinks and amazing servers. Its a Beale St must. The ribs, the catfish the appetizers. The Tamales are good but they are not tamales. I mean they are good but being Mexican i can not dub it a legit tamale. Is the tamale worth the try? Yes. Especially with the chili. Do it. Is it the greatest tamales on earth. No! They lack a little girth compared to the other portions on the menu. Great place over all and a must

What a cool place! It's a total "Dive" in the best way possible. The atmosphere was friendly, the service was excellent and the food was excellent. My wife and I split Chili Cheese Fries and could have stopped there. It was huge! I ordered a cup of Gumbo and a Piece of fish. The Gumbo was OMG so good and the fish was too. Wifey ordered a garden salad which she enjoyed also. Believe me when I tell you, any time in the future that we come through Memphis, we will come here. It's great!

This was a good spot to stop in a Friday night for dinner with kids. They only have 2 kids meal options. The BBQ was incredibly tender, flavor came from the sauce. It didn't have any smoked flavor at all, felt like it was missing something. The greens had a lot of vinegar and weren't worth finishing. Baked beans were alright. The catfish was really good! The stuffed mushrooms were pretty good. The stuffing served to be made of the same battery as the hush puppies. But overall it was good and I would recommend for a cleaner place to stop with kids
