Since moving from Japan to LA, this is the best matcha I’ve found. The barista recommended a matcha latte with matcha cream on top, and it was perfect — authentic matcha flavor, not overly sweet, elegant, and the rich cream added just the right amount of depth. This place is tucked away and not easy to spot from outside, especially in an area I don’t usually visit, so I felt lucky to stumble upon it. On a Sunday morning, people were gathering around the courtyard area, and there were plenty of seats both inside and outside to just chill and enjoy the atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

I walk in and Cuba Libre by Nico Gomez is blaring from the speakers. What a great song choice. There was a line but it moved quick. I wanted to take more photos of the inside but the atmosphere here is chill and I didn’t want to disrupt that. The turkey and provolone croissant is amazing. I could eat one everyday. The burrito well I’d never order that again in my life. Please try the matcha guava latte. Once the guava mixes with the matcha it’s amazing. I can’t even describe that flavor. My buddy said his drink was great! Just in case anyone wanted to know. My only complaint was I saw o

mu.so stands for MUsic SOciety. I read their About page on their website and love their passion for music, community, and coffee. I'm always skeptical of aesthetic cafes in LA with $7 drinks, but mu.so actually delivered. It's a gorgeous industrial chic space. Indoor seating is a row of cafe tables by the floor-to-ceiling windows, and outdoor is a patio furniture spread that's perfect with the breezy LA weather. The coffee menu is less minimalist than you'd think, and the barista did a great job explaining recs for different drinks. Matcha is surprisingly quite concentrated and good quality

This is my absolute favorite café. I discovered it 6–7 months ago by chance when I came to a ping pong party, and since then I’ve been going there about 2–3 times a week. It’s the perfect place to work and try unusual signature drinks. Their drinks are simply magical. There are lots of alternative options if you don’t drink coffee, just like me. But their coffee is also amazing, with so many different and delicious options All in all, it’s in my heart forever, 11 out of 10
