Visited this location for dinner with a friend based on a recommendation that this restaurant has been serving good ramen for years. As a start, I like the way the tables and seats are arranged in order to accommodate maximum capacity for such a small restaurant. For food, we ordered two appetizers as well as the Black Garlic Pork Ramen and the Vegetable Curry Udon. Both appetizers taste great along with generous portion of one of them being served. It’s been about a couple years since I went here. It was quite packed on a weekend especially that the restaurant is small. Good news is that I’m able to get a seat since I’m a solo diner. I was deciding if I wanted to either get Shoyu Ramen or Black Garlic Pork Ramen, which is highly recommended. So I got the garlic one. Honestly, the broth is too garlicky. Also they noticed that usually serve big pieces of sliced meat rather than few smaller ones. Everything else including the toppings is good though. Ordered the Tonkotsu soup ramen with thick noodles and less salt for myself and the black garlic soup ramen with thick noodles and less salt for hubby. The black garlic ramen was most flavourful. Both soup was rich and thick and the fried black garlic was fragrant. The pork slices were thick and soft. Have to say the ramen was tasty and satisfying, authentic to Japan. Have a try for yourself
