A downtown Milwaukee 5 star. Don't worry about finding something on the menu to enjoy. Close your eyes and point to something. It's all good. Tried a handful of small plates this time, pancetta wrapped shrimp were excellent but I could have used a bit more crunch on the pancetta. The charred beef tenderloin skewers were tender and mouth watering. The meatballs (3) were in a bowl with a stewed tomato sauce that elevated the beef/veal appetizer. We loved the bruschetta, and the Ceasar salad, but the standout pick of the night was the crab stuffed calamari. It is served in a white wine tomato sa

This restaurant offers truly authentic Italian cuisine, capturing the essence of Italy in every dish. Although we live in Chicago, we make it a point to visit every time we’re in Milwaukee—it’s simply that exceptional. We highly recommend it for anyone seeking an outstanding and memorable dining experience.

The pasta alla bolognese was very, very good. Deep flavor and fresh pasta. Caprese to start was fresh The 2 wines were both good options. Brunello and Barolo. Fresh bread with olive oil & fresh cheese

Wonderful experience. Gracious staff, good pacing on bringing out food from kitchen. High quality dishes, with strong emphasis on sauces that accompanied the protein. We had the veal with grilled asparagus and the seasonal fish (halibut) . We opted for a slight substitution for a side of pasta with the fish. We finished with a homemade slice of Tiramisu which was one of the best renditions I've ever had. Hats off our server (Colum?) and the entire staff who made our anniversary dinner special.
