I LOVE THIS PLACE - went for the first time and the flavors are rich, complex, multilayered, and simply glorious. The prices are perfect and the quantities are great. I couldn’t wait to get a bite in before I took the photos but I got the Aji Amarillo bowl and my hubby got the Pulled pork sandwhich (forgot what they called it). My dish was decadent, slightly spicy, full of delicious and juicy chicken, cheese, rice and potato. My husband’s sandwhich had the perfect balance of citrus which cut the yummy fat of the shredded pork. 10/10 recommend going. The alfajores for dessert were also scrumpti

Very unique for the area! It's down-to-earth food, but a nice breath of fresh air from all the Mexican and Chinese around the mission. Got the pan con chicharron and it was a pretty decent sandwich. The pork was rich, peppery and braised to perfection. Fell apart in my mouth. It's perfectly paired with some pickled onions, and in case you're not a fan of the sour flavour, there's a whole sweet potato in the sandwich to ease out the flavour and add a hint of sweetness. Overall, great sandwich with incredible amount of layering. That said, nothing crazy special, just a bit unique. A bit pricey

I don't usually leave bad reviews but I was incredibly disappointed in this place, complete waste of money. Had the Pan con Chicarron sandwich and fries, both were incredibly bland. The meat didn't taste like it was seasoned and the fries didn't even have salt on them. They also only gave me a little thimble of ketchup, the only thing making them edible.
