Tucked away in the plaza making it a bit difficult to find is this gem and Renee! She is knowledgeable, patient and obviously enjoys her job. She recalled a customer’s order as soon as he got in line. Now that is service and with a huge smile! The shop is two levels and even has a piano! There is plenty of room and seating for people to sit and work or friends to come and chat. While we were the only ones in the shop for a while she explained that the owner grows and sells beans raised in Jamaica. Tried Bleu Coffee in Montclair and honestly such a cute little spot. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and perfect if you want to sit with a coffee and relax for a bit. The pistachio oatmilk latte was really good — smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Staff was friendly and the vibe felt calm without trying too hard. Definitely a nice coffee stop if you’re in Montclair and want something different from the usual chain cafés. ☕✨
