I'm a regular, and should have left a review long ago. Food is great. Service is attentive and friendly. I've enjoyed everything I tried. The falafel is wonderful - crispy (not hard) outside and fluffy inside. One of my favorites is the Falafel Wrap with Eggplant. The Chicken Shawarma is tender, juicy, and flavorful. Sides like hummus and babaganoush are very good. Once I took a selection of milk cakes to a book club, and everyone loved them. Make sure you try the wonderful Yemeni teas and coffees. Often we will order a pot of tea for the table. My friends who grew up with this cuisine claim

We’re so glad they added Sanaa coffee here, it’s probably the best cafe in Mountain View due to the unique options. For drinks, I love the Adeni chai. Get it if you like milky tea—it’s similar to Indian masala chai but fewer spices, and more tea flavor. The Sanaani coffee is also good for the cardamom and coffee combo—ask for light sugar. For food, the fatayer (turnovers) are lovely with a tea or coffee for an afternoon snack. The chicken is ok, but the veggie and cheese options are better. Their chicken shawarma wraps are also a good value and taste good as well. For dessert, I highly recomme

Comfortable space to enjoy good Mediterranean food and coffee with desert. Outside and Inside seating. Service was pleasant. This time all I had was the Adeni tea which was strong and sweet. Also had the Turkish delight and another sweet.

@palate.delites We ordered the falafel (which comes with pita bread) + hummus + cucumber yogurt. These were some of the best falafels we’ve had . The hummus and the chilli sauce were great accompaniments. We for the potato filled bread (I forget what it is called). This reminded me of the Indian aloo paratha but as spicy. This was good but not something I’d go back for. We ordered sanaani, adani chai (both hot and cold). These adani was very close to the Indian chai so it wasn’t that unique for me, but it was good chai. The sanaani was awesome and I loved the taste of cardamom in Turkish coffe
