Rexety★★★★Went for dinner. Had to wait almost 20-25 minutes for table of 4. Wait was worth it as the veggie ramen that we ordered was satiatingly delicious. It was hot, flavorful, comforting and also customizable. Even the edamame with salt was perfectly made. Order came fast and servers were very nice. Only reason I gave 4 star is because of lack of vegetarian options here. There is just one ramen to order from and one appetizer option for vegetarians. A couple more options in menu would have been great. Overall, worth the wait kind of food.
tanuja bhowmik★★★★★Be prepared for a long wait. We ordered the Geso Karaage, Vegetarian Ramen, and Tonkotsu Ramen, and everything was delicious. The standout for me was the vegetarian ramen—the broth was incredibly rich, flavorful, and satisfying, with a wonderful sesame flavor that really stood out. The Geso Karaage was also a great appetizer and paired perfectly with the ramen. I’m so happy to have found a place that serves such delicious vegetarian ramen, and I’ll definitely be back!
YE Isaac★★★Service The service was quite slow. We were ignored for the first 10 minutes after being seated, and water was only served after we had placed our orders. Food Salad: The dressing was overwhelmingly sweet and tasted like a generic, pre-packaged plum sauce. Ramen: They didn't ask for our preferred noodle firmness when ordering, but they came out medium-firm with a nice bite. The broth was a tonkotsu (pork bone) base, but it was much lighter and thinner than what you would typically experience in Japan. Because it lacked richness and oil, the soup felt very bland, leaving the noodles essenti
Manik Kumar★★★★★Had a great meal at Yugen Ramen on Castro St in Mountain View. We ordered the Spicy Tan Tan Ramen, the Assorted Vegetable Ramen, and a lychee soda, and everything was really enjoyable. The Spicy Tan Tan Ramen was rich, creamy, and flavorful with a nice level of heat. The Assorted Vegetable Ramen was amazing with fresh vegetables and a vegetable broth that felt balanced and well prepared. The lychee soda was refreshing and paired really well with the ramen. Overall, a great place if you want both hearty and lighter ramen options, plus fun drinks on the side.
