We were traveling from Vicksburg, MS going to Tulsa, OK and stopped at Mahylon’s and ate dinner. Mr. Kenny and all of his staff were SO VERY NICE!!!! The food was excellent and we very much enjoyed being there. We had a wonderful experience and will be back!!!!!!!!!!

First time visiting and I am pleased. I will definitely be returning. The food is great, and the service was top-notch. And for those of you gluten-free, there is plenty you will be able to eat. The cost is around 20 a person, which is reasonable as the food portions are big. It you haven't been there, give them a try, you will be glad you did.

Took a suggestion from a coworker who used to live in Muskogee and he said he would come here when he was younger. This place did not disappoint! The waitresses were spot on and friendly. We were quickly seated and ordered our drinks. They were not much selections with regards to appetizers so I ordered fries & onion rings. The onion rings were great however, at $7.59 I'm not exactly sure of the price, but they were exactly what I wanted in an onion ring. Pros: Service was great. Kind a thoughtful staff and owner. Interior isn't anything special, but it was clean and achieved precisely what it meant to. Cons: the food is hit or miss. Some of the best brown beans I've had, good potato salad. The ribs were a bit tough and kind of bland. The brisket tasted weird...I dont know how to describe it...off? Maybe like fake smoke oil? Not sure. Overall: It's okay food and great staff for average prices. Do with that what you will.
