We have visited Prosecco several times before and have always really enjoyed it. The ambiance is beautiful, and on previous occasions the service had been excellent. This time, we visited as a group of eight to celebrate my cousin’s birthday. We decided to order a few appetizers to share. Two of my friends ordered a salad, scallops, and a pasta to split between them. It seems there may have been a misunderstanding when the order was placed, because two orders of scallops were brought to the table instead of one. In all honesty, the best thing I tried was the veal, but I don’t get a picture because I ate it so quickly. The meatball app was great and so was the chocolate cake. However, the best aspect, in my opinion, was getting the round table in the back. I felt like a king.

This is one a great Italian restaurant that literally never disappoints! If you’re downtown, do yourself a favor and book a reservation. It’s also a great date night restaurant. Their pastas are all made in house and it will be a crime to skip dessert and their legendary tiramisu. After a trip to Italy, I can confirm the delicious dessert is 100% authentic! Service is always top notch too no matter how busy they get.

This is a classy Italian restaurant in the River North Gallery District. Atmosphere filled with beautiful artwork reminds me of Venice, Italy. Perfect for romantic dates and special occasions. Everything we ordered off the menu was outstanding. The vodka dirty martinis with blue cheese olives were wicked good. Waitstaff is kind and pleasant. We had a great experience on my first visit. If you get there early enough, there’s street parking. I managed to park right in front of the restaurant for a 6 PM reservation. Parking gets a little tight after that. We ordered several dishes to share famil
