This place was super busy, but when we got in there was no wait, and our waiter Jacob H was very quick and efficient but not pushy/rushed. It’s a fine line and they walked it perfectly to get us seated, ordered, and served without making us feel like they wanted us gone. The food was delicious as always, and the wife wanted big fluffy pancakes and it’s exactly what she got. Also, even with how busy it was, and multiple people being involved (waiter, kitchen, etc) our slightly chaotic order was exactly right. (No butter on one, but butter on the side on the other, other such things). Overall,

The service was amazing! Brandi very kindly gave me a cup of coffee while we waited for our table. We ended up eating at the bar, and Brandi seemed to single handedly handle all the specialty drinks for the whole restaurant, all the while giving is excellent service and attention. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The main reason we were there, of course, was to eat, and the food did not disappoint! It was delicious, well presented and generous. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Darn. I really wanted this to be better than it was. It was recommended to us by locals so we had high hopes. Our waitress was really sweet but she didn’t refill our water at all and that’s a service issue for me. The cinnamon roll was tasty but smaller than expected and not as hot as it should have been considering it was cooked in cast iron. We love local places when we travel and we’re glad we tried it. Hopefully it was just an off day for them.

Looks like your typical diner upon entry, but the food is at least 2 tiers above. Really delicious looking and tasting breakfast. I try to come here anytime I’m in Louisville. 100% recommend for a quick, affordable stop.
