Food of CT★★★★★I chose Consiglio’s for my birthday dinner, and I really couldn’t have made a better choice! Four of us visited for 12:30pm on a Friday, so it made for a quieter day on Wooster Street. Our waitress was friendly, and I can’t get over how delicious the food was. So many great homemade pastas, and everything was clearly made from quality ingredients. The braciola was so tender, and I really enjoyed their vodka sauce. Great drinks and desserts as well! Our family left impressed and full. A classy place without being pretentious. We will absolutely be back and will keep it in mind for more special
Alison Kapushinski★★★★★Kicking myself for waiting this long to try Consiglio’s! We made a reservation for 7:30 on a Saturday. We were seated right away in the back room. We loved the ambiance, it was definitely lively but not too loud. The service was great even being a packed house. The arancini was the best I’ve had. The dipping oil with bread was just perfect. My chicken rosa was incredible too. I had a lavender mocktail which I loved, and my husband loved the super coffee-forward espresso martini. We were there about 1.5 hours and it went by so fast. Highly recommend!
Elizabeth Cobb★★★Lovely restaurant with delightful serving staff. Bread was warm and crisp. Special cocktail was underwhelming. Entrees sounded delicious but the pasta in both dishes was gummy and over cooked. Such a disappointment. Nice small salads were served with entrees. Our dessert of tartuffo was ok. This was our first visit and perhaps we were unlucky. But it’s hard to forgive a reputable Italian restaurant serving over cooked gummy pasta.
Jennifer Welch★★★★★Our family of four had a fantastic meal start to finish. We enjoyed the eggplant rollatini as an appetizer along with the freshly baked bread and balsamic olive oil dipping sauce. The side salads were refreshing. Each of us ordered a different pasta dish, and all of them were delicious! Our server was fine, but not exceptional. My only critique would be that the restaurant charges for every drink refill. We had sodas and iced tea, which ran us around $40.00. We are looking forward to dining outside when the weather turns a bit warmer.
