Vicky Aljure★★★★★Excellent Restaurant! I had a delightful Dinner at Union League. The service and the ambiance were great (there was a pianist playing live). The food overall was very good. I had the Tuna tartar, the Octopus, the Cauliflower, the Beef Wellington, and the Souffle of the day (it was Raspberry that day). My stand-outs were the Tuna Tartar and the Wellington. As I mentioned to the waitress, I fly to London for Beef Wellington, because I'm obsessed with it, and is hard to find it anywhere else. But this one was Excellent. The meat was probably the most tender meat I've ever had; and, as I also told
Michelle★★★★Celebrating our son, we had a wonderful dining experience at Union League Cafe during Yale graduation weekend. The atmosphere was elegant and timeless, with beautiful old-world charm, impeccable ambiance and excellent attention to detail throughout the restaurant. Our table enjoyed the Faroe Island Salmon, Maine Diver Sea Scallops, Roasted Cauliflower Steak, Rack of Lamb, the Saturday special Beef Wellington with celeriac purée and roasted root vegetables, and the Ricotta Gnocchi. Every dish was beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone at the table. We were especially impress
Ren Ganino★★★★★Absolutely flawless. If you asked me to come up with a single issue with the experience I had, I wouldn't be able to say a thing. The servers were friendly, charming, efficient, and fully on top of things the entire time. Every dish was perfect. Our table was swapping bites throughout the meal, so I was able to try a bit of almost everything, and nothing was less than stellar. I'll definitely be looking for an excuse to stop by again soon!
cdunningp★★★★★The new management & staff have elevated a New Haven staple to an even higher level! Everything was amazing. The Duck Confit is a must have! French dip was delicious. The Radiatori Pasta was also amazing. Definitely going back!
