First visit to the restaurant, even though I've had take out. Wife turned me on to this establishment. I must say the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable, I ordered the fish and shrimp platter ,with cole slaw and red beans and rice ,which very good ,Id buy it as a main serving. Customer service was excellent and food was cooked to order, big shrimp and big fish fillets. Enjoyed the food and will return again and again

My first visit from Cali to Norman. Drove my 92-yr old friend to Fred Jones Art Museum & this was her choice for late lunch. Insanely friendly, attentive, generous service by James--thank you! We shared the special Special (5 strips of catfish, hush puppies + 2 sides) and order of 3 fish fillet (grilled)--wanted to inhale it all, but too much, enough for dinner, too. Topped off by delicious peach and apple pies--she esp loved these. My senior friend, who lives here in Norman now, loved the whole experience, too. That says a LOT. Kudos Team Sam's Southern!

Ok, I come here less than I would like. Simply because I’m the only one wanting Seafood in my house. Now today I had fish and shrimp, beans&rice and French fries. Hush puppies also. These guys did a great job. The beans and rice are fantastic and different than the last time here. (A few months ago) anyway thanks Sam’s !
