Amber Mullis★★★★★If you’re in Augusta, do yourself a favor and eat at McNeely’s Place. Everything about this restaurant is wonderful — the food, the atmosphere, and the staff were all top-notch. My husband ordered the pot roast, I had the smothered chicken, and my sister got the country fried steak, and every single plate was incredible. You can tell everything is homemade and made with care. If there’s a wait, I promise it’s worth it. And when they ask what kind of bread you want… get the pineapple banana nut bread. It was some of the best I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back!

I have worked fine dining for 10 years, and this place truly hits every mark in terms of food presentation, service, and quality of the food despite not being fine dining. The servers are always so kind and attentive- I didn’t have to ask for anything once. The care and love that goes into this place is so clear based on how the employees act and the quality of the food. We will definitely be back!

All time favorite, BLT...loaded with bacon. Another plus to my now favorite spot is, for $6.50 you can take home a homemade frozen dinner, the serving is a healthy size. Ask your server for details. Service was stellar. We loved our server, she made perfect suggestions and was very personable. When I'm back in town, this may be my only place to eat!
