I stopped by today to try this place for the first time, but I was very disappointed. The tamales were dry and the filling didn’t taste like what I ordered. I don’t even know what was on them which is scary 😱 because I ordered chicken and cheese and there was some weird brown stuff in them. They were also super dry! I also tried a burrito, and the tortilla and overall flavor were not good. The prices are affordable, but I would rather pay more for better quality food. I’ve never liked Santiago’s burritos but I think they still taste better than the burritos from tamale kitchen. Won’t ever be

Man, normally i love tamale kitchen.. I've never had a poor experience prior to this one, but this one was bad enough that i have to give this 1 star review. It supercedes every single good experience before it. I went through the drive thru late night after an extraordinarily long day. I hadn't had dinner yet and all i wanted was a delicious warm meal that i didn't have to cook. I waited a while because it was a Friday night. Tamales were mostly masa and very little meat. Bought 3 dozen tamales online. Requested a pickup for later in the day for family event. The message came in the order was accepted but later than requested. During pick up they seemed confused but finally brought out the order.
