Here in town on a layover and this place had great reviews-I love breakfast so this seemed like the place to go. I unfortunately did not have a raving experience. The dark roast coffee I ordered (with a splash of milk) was so bitter. I tried a few more sips and unfortunately was not able to enjoy it. I ended up asking for their medium roast and they brought over a small serving of oat milk for me to add as I please, which I appreciated. Not as bitter as the dark roast but still quite bitter. The food came out quickly, which I can appreciate. But the skillet was so greasy that each bite tasted

I was looking for an older, non-corporate cafe for breakfast and came across The Table Coffee Company. Nestled in the middle of downtown Omaha, it’s an easy access corner location surrounded by a wide variety of shops. Inside offers old wood trimming windows, brick walls, comfy booths, mixed modern furniture and a very large area for groups. The menu has a wide item variety, reasonably priced. I found the portions and taste to be excellent, as well as the coffee! Service was outstanding, with perfectly timed coffee refills well appreciated. This cafe is also very handicapped accessible.
