Since 1980... That's a pretty good stretch. They've always been a good spot to grab drive-in food. What I noticed, today, was a pretty old building, but kept in decent shape by the team. Wifey loves a Pork Tenderloin Sam when she can find it, and theirs was a pretty big patty. I grabbed one of their signature burgers, to go along with a silly order of Clam Strips on impulse, and the clams were as you'd imagine this far inland, haha. But leftovers got ate up by the aborigines at home, with no complaints. Nice to visit this joint, again. I bet they're doing what they do 50 years from now...

SO VIBEY! Ron's lobby as you currently can see it was built in 1979, and boy can you tell! If you appreciate the 70s/80s aesthetic that is reason enough to give Ron's a visit. The food was solid, nothing out of this world but certainly yummy. I had the fish and chips basket and while the fish pieces were a bit small, the fish was fresh, juicy, and flavorful. WONDERFUL tartar sauce as well. They did not skimp on the sauce and gave us 6 tartars no charge. The prices are what you'd expect for 2025 (so not great), but portions were overall good. In fact, the pail of fries they gave us was INSANE,

The Burgers were good. Nice lady at the counter. We got there at 7pm with an advertised closing at 8pm. The Fries were old, dry, had been sitting a long time. We were the only customers. They started stacking chairs, running cleaning equipment around us way before the closing. But the biggest negative was the bathroom. There is NO scheduled cleaning. And there is only one shared for a business of this size. It was the most filthy, disgusting bathroom I've seen anywhere in years. I've been going to Ron's for many years. This was the worst. We have many choices. If Ron's is not goin

It was ok. The fries are good. Burger was more homemade tasting than I was expected, except I wasn't big on the sauce, I plan on trying it again without it because it had serious promise, probably just a personal taste preference.
