Adriana Becerra★★★★★Beautiful experience! Make sure you check out the back to see the secret garden patio space where you can have lunch. I loved their dulce de leche latte, yucca fries, mbjal and chimichurri sauce. Gluten free options available were yummy. I will be back to try their desserts and spicy chicken empanada. Walking distance from the aquarium.
reuven bank★★★★★There are a number of quality coffee shops in the Monterey Area, but in my opinion, having tried many over the years, Cafe Guarani is the best one. They have a great mix of ambience and food / drink selection. They make unique, high quality beverages (I usually get the Dulce de Leche latte), their food menu is equally delicious and extends beyond pastries into savory empanadas and sandwiches. Their brisket empanada is outstanding and rivals any empanada I tried during a backpacking trip to Argentina last year. The back patio has awesome vibes, especially on a sunny day, and the staff are fri
Benny Feinsilber★★★★★Absolutely fantastic little shop right off the coast trail. Delicious, fresh empanadas (I ordered the chicken and loved it!) and a really tasty vanilla iced latte with homemade vanilla bean syrup. Big fan of the dulce de leche cookie as well. Really cozy place to cool down for a bit or start the morning. Be sure to check out the hidden courtyard in the back too. Definitely will be coming back again!
Elizabeth Salmon-Omski★This was the worst food we had in a long time. Bad service. They got our order wrong, we waited a very long time to find out. Then we waited more. Croquettes oily, yuka fries had no flavor, empanadas were horribly oily and undercooked and the filling was horrible, ice coffee was sweetened and didn’t taste like coffee. They were cheap on ketchup. The interior was nice and cozy. We won’t be back.
