There aren't alot of pizza places that I can say ... besides having great pizza, also offer you classic Italian hospitality. Verdi Pizza is the Best Of Both Worlds!! Mike was absolutely that lo zio!! That uncle that invites you into his home & feeds You. The atmosphere was like being in Sicily or Sassari. I happened upon Verdi by accident. Went in to get a slice (which they don't sell pizza by the slice) Mike then proceeded to treat me to the kindness & heart of Verdi & gave me a slice he made for himself. It was beyond delicious. There was no line and it was easy to order. They had a wide variety of options including pizza, sandwiches, salads, calzones, etc. It's very small, more popular for online ordering than for dining in. The food was amazing, and for how much food I ordered, it was ready very quickly. The meat lovers pizza was absolutely covered in a variety of meats, no skimping. The pesto pizza was delightful, not too heavy on the flavor and not too light on the toppings. The Hawaiian pizza likewise was completely covered with pineapple and Canadian bacon, very robust. I’m here on vacation and wanted to try some Italian. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!! I ordered over 100 dollars worth of food and it was all DISGUSTING! the spaghetti and meatballs tasted old the fettuccine had a strange sour after taste, the pizza looked like something from the frozen section, it was undercooked and rubbery. This salad is not even a salad lol. I was violently ill all night. DO NOT EAT HERE! They do not care about quality or their customers.
