We celebrated my nephew’s birthday here with a party of seven and had a great time overall. The food was excellent, especially the paella marinara, sirloin steak, calamari, salmon, beef tenderloin and house salad. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. One area that could use improvement is how staff move through the dining room. There were a few moments where we felt cut off while trying to get to our table, which made things feel a bit congested. A little more awareness of guests would make a big difference. There was also some confusion around the soup of the day. We were initially told it

I catered seafood paella, shrimp in garlic, chicken in garlic sauce, muscles, veges and chips for my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. Not only was there more than enough food it was all very delicious! Everyone at the dinner party raved about the food, even the young grandchildren! I will surely order food for intimate house party’s again from el cid. I have also eaten meals in the restaurant and have enjoyed the good very much. The wait staff was thoughtful and helpful then as well! I highly recommend eating at and ordering out for parties! Rob was especially helpful and generous!

I love El Cid. I'm so glad they are back. Things were a little weird without the Knights but i will adjust. The service and staff were incredible and the food is even better. I most recently went with my gluten intolerant cousin and the waiter made sure she was 100% safe. We loved eating everything after tearing up the the GSP mall. Thank you

June 2026: Waited patiently for El Cid to reopen, after being closed for about three years. El Cid looks the same and feels the same upon walking in on a quiet afternoon. Old fashion and espresso martini were both garbage. However, the red sangria was okay. Appetizers served without side dishes. I guess the bread plates pull double duty. Kids chicken fingers and fries served on a HOT plate. Thanks for NOT telling us. Ketchup or sauce not offered. Requested blue cheese to be melted on the center cut filet and the waiter served blue cheese crumbles on a side dish. Should I keep going? Simply p
