Had a really great first time experience at Surfish Bistro. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for a nice Mother’s Day evening out with my wife. Definitely a hidden gem in Brooklyn if you enjoy good seafood and Peruvian cuisine. Thank you. -YOUR FAVORITE MAILMAN DANNY.

Finally made it to this place, have been meaning to come here for 3 years now. I’m in Suffolk county Long Island. So if u know u know. Brooklyn is a hike. I go a classic Margarita, my daughter got her usual Sheryl temple. We got free nachos, plantains and fried corn with pico and this creamy sauce. It was delish and fresh. For entrees I got the 3 ceviche sampler and my daughter got the seafood ramen. We loved everything. The broth was amazing fresh and full of Latin flavor. My ceviches were out of this world. The pulp was the best of all 3. The cream, tangy, vinaigrette sauce was wildly good.

This restaraunt has been on my go-to list for quite a while so when opportunity presented itself today, I had high expectations. We started off with some coffee. The coffee was watery, definitely do not recommend. Complimentary chips for the table were pretty good. It was a nice mix and the chips were not too oily. The two sauces that came with were very mildly spiced. We ordered a total of 4 dishes. The tuna ceviche was nicely portioned. The pineapple was NOT prepared as described on the menu. Overall, while the fish was fresh, the sauce was too sweet and the whole dish felt like the ingredie

A very laid back dining experience on a Monday night. Drinks and dessert were great! Would not recommend the duck pasta… though the pasta and sauce were decent, I just didn’t end up liking it and should have ordered the paella like everyone else! lol The plantain chips and nuts as a starter were DELICIOUS and I LOVED the sauce and salsa they came with.
