10/10. The space is so cute. Picnic tables. Shaded couches and lounge chairs, bar seating, shade and sun, there’s a spot for everyone. They have a turf fenced in area that might be like a kids play area but we were the only ones back there so we let our dogs off leash.. seemed to be okay, which was excellent for us. The food was excellent. Mushroom tacos hit the spot. They have the best French fries I have ever had. In my life. It’s like a potato wedge they slice into flat little strips. Phenomenal. Cool beer selection and they have a very decent hard kombucha selection which was exciting. Lov

We rented out the side yard in advance for 4 hours and Amy, Russell, and their staff were tremendous in helping our gathering come to life. Before the party, the team was responsive to all questions, helpful in figuring out logistics, and friendly! The week of our event Amy and I nailed down all the final details! Our guests loved the venue, it was perfect, casual, fire pits and heaters helped keep us warm on what was chilly California spring night! The menu selection was great for everyone from so

Super helpful staff- he put his steps in getting info from the kitchen for me. Suggestions for food and wine/cider pairings were excellent. Food was prompt and good. Outdoor seating was plentiful.

My friend and I stopped at "The Backyard" during our road trip through California. We had so much fun at this laid back, outdoor eating restaurant. It had an extensive beer menu and the food was very good. The workers were so friendly, even helping to point out some must-sees while in the area. If you had a larger group, this would be a fun place to reserve as they have some fun seating areas for a group. I'll come back if I'm in the area again.
