Brookdale Ave★★★★The food here is made with care by a lovely proprietor from Ankara. The restaurant is fairly small but the food speaks for itself. We tried the ground beef over eggplant and the beef liver with potatoes. Both dishes were excellent and came with bread, salad and rice. The prices may be a little bit higher than I expected but they were certainly within reason for home cooking. Taking into account the astronomical increases in pricing at most restaurants, this place is a good option for a nice meal.
Juned Ahmed★★★★★One of the best turkish restaurants around the area. Phenomenal food- great tasting adana kebob, buttery bulgur, and fresh salad. Red lentil soup was delicious. Turkish aunty was very friendly. She cooks, cleans and serves. Highly recommend to all. Must try if you’re looking for authentic Turkish food.
Sage Mathew★★★★★This family-owned and truly home cooked food has a reputation that precedes it. The lovely lady who owns and operates this small and inconspicuous looking restaurant took over the cooking duties from her late chef husband. They have intentionally kept the scale as is so as to focus on homemade Turkish dishes to appease to its loyal customers who swear by the traditional focus on Turkish comfort foods made at home. Everything is made to order (with the exception of the desserts) and freshly made daily. There is no menu as the dishes vary daily and so the dishes are displayed on the TV monitor
Umar Ashfaq★★★★★Excellent food served home style! Make sure to ask for the daily specials. Had a great meal of soup, anchovies and a kabab platter. Would highly recommend.
