Stopped at IHOP to take advantage of "Free Meal" coupon. Had jalapeño cheeseburger, fries, and soda and my other half had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Decent meal.

The sign on the door said "System down, No cards. Cash only" We were seated. I noticed that out of the few tables occupied, 1 had food there. Girl came & took our order, brought back water & we waited & waited. 15 minutes later, no one had been served yet. I went to the kitchen & 1 plate was up. I told her we had to leave. So, we left.

So I took my family of four and went on the idea of not spending too much. Ordered the breakfast specials of 7$ for me and my spouse. No coffee just water and 18$ meal for my eldest son and a “KIDS” meal for my youngest. To my surprise the “kids” meal totaled up (by itself) $12.95 + $4.45 for chocolate milk (4 oz non refill) totaling $17.40 for 3 very small tenders ( like really small) and 2 mozzarella sticks ( cold btw). I do t understand how this is ok for ihop to do. I would’ve rather purchased a regular meal and have gotten waaaay more food. Server was ok I guess but not the most enthusi

It took nearly half an hour for a party of 3 to be seated. Upon finally being called up, walking into the restaurant there were at least 4 ready & clean booths available & in which our party would have fit in, which left me bothered (but it didn't seem like there was a lot of staff so maybe that's why not many guests were immediately seated). Still the long wait has been a recurring thing at this ihop on all my visits. Service was fine. I ordered Wonka's perfectly purple pancakes but was dissapointed that they didn't cover the entire top pancake with the purple glaze as shown on the menu's pic
