A Portland staple. I’ve been dining here for almost 2 decades for the preferred line before shows. The menu has changed over the years, R.I.P. Year of the Dragon nachos! Tonight I pulled up with my brother before Jade. No more pizza by the slice, but we shared a delightfully greasy pepperoni pizza with an excellent cheese pull! The blueberry moon pie is to die for, don’t skip it. Friendly and attentive service as always.

Love the McMenamin’s vibe and appreciate the hippie/Grateful Dead ambience. The beers from their brewery are fine. But their food is so consistently mediocre. Recently ordered onion rings that were extra crispy, probably left in the fryer too long. Can get better food for the same price very easily somewhere else.

Such obvious 5 star service here. Accommodated my brother's life threatening milk allergy and my wife's vegan diet easily and the food was good and the drinks were great. we got burgers and a dirty Shirley drink and a fizzy lifter mocktail. The root beer is amazing too.

I truly have no words for what my experience was like here. The food was indescribably bad, I woke up still thinking about it. Our nachos had chips that were some of the most stale chips I’ve ever had. The beans were absolutely fried and dried out. The cheese was I’m guessing nacho cheese not even warmed up. It was baffling, honestly. The prices were insanely high for what it is and it was unfortunate that for my friend’s party of 20, there was only one server, presumably causing our food to have sat out even longer. 2 stars because the beer was fine. Stay away.
