The tea is great, the service is familiar and warm, and the atmosphere is incredible. My favorite coffee shop in the city, check it you will not regret it. They have checkers, chess, and connect 4 as well if that's your thing.

My 4 yr old son and I were on the same block as this Coffee shop when he needed to use the restroom. I asked the woman working here for him to use the restroom as I didn't want him in any discomfort as he just had surgery a few days ago. The woman who was working here around 11am 4/2 told me no, that I'd need to purchase something. While we attempted to purchase a cookie, at the same time I told her how disappointed I was to hear a woman refuse a restroom to a 4 yr old child who just had surgery she then canceled the purchase and told us to leave. Fine. I deeply do not want to encourage this b

A friend recommended this place since it is close to my new apartment in downtown Portland. I got their Bombay Breakfast tea and it was delicious but what really makes a great coffee shop is the experience and that was subpar. The woman who served me was overworked, stressed out and seemed to take it out on customers. Maybe hire some more people so it could be a better experience for all 🤔

The owner is extremely rude and refuses to give her name when asked. Do not support this bougie coffee shop, go 500ft down the road and get a reasonably priced and local coffee from a way friendlier establishment. This is not a "local" place. They simply do not care for their neighbors or people who help keep the sidewalks and streets outside of their business clean. Seems to be burnt out on having a business downtown. She said "this person" just wanted to use a free bathroom. She also doesnt let 4yr olds that just got out of surgery use her "basic human services" either. Wouldve bought a coo
