I stopped at this small Cuban roadside restaurant on my way to Miami, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. It’s a simple place with outdoor tables, relaxed atmosphere, and pleasant Latin music playing — exactly what you hope to find on a road trip. We waited almost 2 hours. The outside area was really hot, there were flies everywhere, and we even had to ask them to clean the table. I also had to get up myself and look for the beers we ordered .The bathroom didn’t have soap or paper. For the price, the food came on paper plates with disposable forks, and even the water wasn’t free. The place honestly didn’t feel clean, and the whole experience was disappointing… and much more to say about this place .

We were out looking for a place to eat and googled places close t us and came across El Rincon Alegre. When we arrived, they weren't officially opened for business because they had just relocated to a new location but the owner invited us in and said we'll take care of you...and they did!! The food was AMAZING!! It's covered outdoor seating with a playground and a bounce house for kids. The staff was very friendly. We definitely look forward to visiting again when we're back in the area!!

One of the best homemade picañas I’ve had, great environment. Under new management, they were very attentive and friendly. There is mostly outdoor seating but family oriented.
