Very good spring rolls. We had three orders of them. Also got some bao buns with pork bbq. Also delicious. We got the spicy steak combo pho, The broth was not as flavorful as I had hoped, but it was still a very good dish came with all the fresh fixins also. It had a good amount of thin steak and the (homemade?) ham. Prices were very good. We also had Lucky Buddha beer which I have not had in years. They were skunked but I put a lime in it so it was fine. Food came extremely fast after being ordered.

The atmosphere was warm and cozy. We arrived mid-afternoon for lunch and there wasn’t many people. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They played lively music and had their large patio windows open which was really nice to see on that sunny day. We ordered a couple of cocktails that were refreshing without being too strong. The Pho? ABSOLUTELY TOP-NOTCH. So delicious and comforting. We also ordered the Pork Pot Stickers, a delightful crunch alongside the main entree. Would definitely recommend anyone to check it out!!

Plenty other pho options in the Raleigh area that are better than this one. The service was poor & slow. I am Viet & grew up eating our cuisine regularly, this was not as authentic as advertised. Boba was aged & falling apart in my drink. 1/10 experience. Please hire friendlier staff.

I tried Anise Pho on Glenwood Ave and thought the experience was overall okay. The food was decent, but the flavors didn’t really stand out and felt a bit muted. Prices are on the higher side for what you get. I also noticed some sanitation issues that were concerning. Still, service was fine and the meal was acceptable, just not somewhere I’d go out of my way to revisit.
