If you haven’t been yet, Polpetti is a must! My family and I are from NY and we LOVE it! Chicken cutlet sandwiches are hard to come by and we feel like we are back in NY every time we eat them at Polpetti. The FDNY is our absolute favorite! We have ordered sandwiches, bought fresh pasta, ordered catering and cookies, and had a large event at my office catered. Everything is amazing. Pete, Georgia and their team are the sweetest and you always feel welcome.

Visiting Richmond for the day and saw someone make a video about this place on TikTok. I got the balsamic chicken on focaccia and it was SO GOOD. Also got a Carmelita bar since they were sold out of their cannoli cake, and it was also delicious! Good Italian food is hard to find in Virginia, so I was very happy to have come across this spot. If I lived in Richmond I would for sure be a regular. Very friendly service too. A great lunch spot!! Must try⭐️

We read the reviews, but our sandwiches were better than the reviews! All quality ingredients and …the bread (best sub roll I’ve tasted in years.) It was a fantastic experience and worth the drive.
