I was happy to find a vegan bakery/cafe in Rittenhouse where I’m spending a few days. Because they are gluten free, they use almond flour in all the baked goods except for the blueberry crumble. It was too sweet for me and the oat base was a little too firm. Their house coffee was bitter. I don’t eat nuts and a shame that I couldn’t try any of the other pastries.

Very surprised to read the recent reviews. I had an excellent experience here today with a family member who can’t have gluten/dairy. I myself have no allergies so I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the food that much- everything was delicious!!! I also really loved my matcha latte. Our waitress was also very nice and helpful. Would definitely go back even though i don’t have allergies

There is a small seating area with a dessert case at the entrance. The dessert case was surprisingly large given that all items are gluten-free. The restaurant does not have an espresso machine, so I had a drip coffee and by recommendation of the proprietor, a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was easily the size of a large grapefruit and was incredibly delicious. My spouse had a green juice, which was fresh and tangy. The bathroom wa
