Came here with my mother to grab a quick bite, we liked the hidden in the wall vibe to it. The menu isnt very big, it kinda resembles a cafeteria kinda feel. Sandwiches, fountain drinks, salads, sides, pie desserts. Kinda pricey for just the Sandwiches themselves, they do offer complimentary condiments so it does make up for the price of the Sandwich if you do take advantage of those condiments to dress it up. The food in all was pretty good for a hole in the wall Sandwich spot!

First time here. I ordered the French dip sandwich the best part would have been If I received the dipping sauce ☹️ but I didnt the patato salad was good the add on extra bar was nice assortment to add to my meal because a didnt recieve the dipping sauce the sandwich was just ok the bread was semi-sauggy by the time I sat down, it needed more flavor salt? Possibly? I needed ranch for my celery, the pie was amazing coconut w/cream the banana looked to o runny good thing I switched it for coconut. This is cozy little spot in the City of Riverside that my Aunt would take me to after a day of shopping which has been over 40 years ago. It was so nice to visit Backstreet with my two special girlfriends recently after treating ourselves to a facial. I highly recommend it for a very relaxing lunch.

What a great 1st time eat for us, lovely environment with yummy eats. We been there twice already and have tried their cold sandwiches and hot sandwiches, both are really good. I love the veggie bar because it makes my sandwich taste that much better. Their potato salad and bake beans are superb. Definitely will be returning customers.
