Katie is absolutely wonderful. She always has the best energy and makes for the best conversation. In general the staff here are all amazing, but she's always easy going and quick to get out my order. She also gives the best recommendations and does really good designs in case the coffees going to be a gift. She always nails my order, which is really impressive since I'm very particular about the mixtures and consistency. She just embodies everything you would want out of somebody representing your business, well done black rock.

Unfortunately, my experience was not great. I would really like to find smaller coffee shops to support other than Starbucks, but like this one, many don’t get the basic things right. For example, the drip coffee wasn’t fresh . They heated up a blueberry muffin, and it basically was soggy mush. They didn’t have napkins in the napkin dispenser out of raw sugar. They don’t have cream in the area where you can fix your own coffee. The girl took forever to serve the coffee, then took off and I was sitting there waiting for cream. Black Rock Coffee Bar has a solid menu and quick service, but the experience felt average this time. Drinks were decent, just not very memorable, and the atmosphere was okay but didn’t really stand out. It’s a convenient stop if you’re nearby, but there’s room to improve consistency and overall vibe.

Great ambiance and drinks. The Barista Mimi was so sweet and really helpful in helping decide on drinks. She recommended I add cold foam to my shaken espresso which was soooo goooooood. I'm a new regular! 10/10 recommend!
