We were in town for the Special Olympics USA Summer Games and Mickey’s was recommended by more than one local. It was only a 10-minute walk from our hotel and we were happy to finally get there. The food was delicious! My sister and I both had a blueberry pancake (only one because they were HUGE!). My sister had both turkey ham and beef bacon and I had one egg and hash browns O’brian. Everything was really good and the service was friendly as well.

Delicious and cozy digs. Patty melt was piping hot and fries were solid, if not very salty - I can fix that easily as a customer and it means low sodium diets are catered to, so it's not a problem. They make their coffee on the griddle with an actual percolator and seeing that in 2026 is the coolest thing ever.

James Dobbs★★★★★

This isn't a restaurant, it's a time machine and a legend! When you walk in you are transported to a different time and place (it was literally built in NJ and moved to St. Paul) if you're a tourist in the MSP area and have time for one meal anywhere this is where to to go. Not because the food is amazing (for the price you won't ro better) but for the experience. It's a piece of history both diner history and local history, and it's just cool. The food is good, the staff is nice and friendly, and objectively it the best you'll get for the price so if you aren't looking for a slice of Ame

Most amazing diner experience. Have gone 3 days in a row for breakfast. Peter the chef and Emily the server are amazing! This place is the real deal and a must visit in St. Paul.
