I will preface this with this: I was getting take out. I called and was told 15 minutes. Showed up after 20 minutes. I love local food spots and wanted to love this place. I’m going to give them another try but I was pretty disappointed, especially for the price. The atmosphere was pretty cute! Loved some of the decor. Went to The Easy Otter and it did not disappoint. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the seasonal beignets, and both were incredible. The chicken and waffles were honestly the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy, flavorful, and just all around amazing. The beignets were fresh and delicious too. On top of that, the service was great and everything came out quickly. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to! Great food. I do wish I had more slaw on my sands, but it was still amazing. The beignets were amazing! The waffles are fluffy and filling. Everything is made fresh, and you can taste it! The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Great place for a date night! It’s in downtown Salem near the Elsinore theater and city parks. We had the fried chicken strips and fries with beignets for dessert. The food was hot, service was fast and a cozy atmosphere inside and outdoor seating available. We will definitely be back to try the Mac n’ cheese.
