Jose Mendoza Soto★★★★Came here after watching a documentary on Netflix. Taco Bell's idea of crunchy taco came from this place. We ordered the combination plate which has a crunchy taco, a tostada, rice and beans. It came with a cup of soup. The soup was called cocido. The soup was great. It had a beef chunk celery, zucchini and carrots. The chips and salsa served were delicious. The ground beef taco from my order was good. Nothing special in my opinion. The tostada was good too. Nothing special in my opinion once again. I personally like the soup and chips and salsa better. I would come again.
Scott Face★★★★★I grew up in Colton just south of The Mitla Cafe and used to go there all the time before I moved away in the mid 90s. I went back for the first time today and it was even better than I remembered. I got the Huevos Rancheros and I am not kidding when I say they were the best I've ever had. The service was friendly and quick and the prices are still reasonable. I will definitely make this a must next time I visit family down in the Inland Empire.
Hoshun Lam★★★Service was slow as they didn’t have enough staff. Chicken was dry. Beef wasn’t much better. Salsa and chips were good.
Kimberly Robel★★★★★Mitla Cafe is a landmark in San Bernardino. Dining room is nicely decorated, though it is not a fancy place. There is an event venue attached/next door for special occasions. Their chile relleno is amazing. Service was great today.
